Fatal Claw Items and Consumables

Fatal Claw’s item layer is simpler than most Metroidvanias. You collect named materials, spend them at the right NPC or interface, and the game tracks what you have on the Stone of Narrative or the Claw upgrade tree. This page lists confirmed item names and their uses. It will not invent drop locations or chest counts.

Acer stones

Acer stones are a named material. Steam achievement language confirms them as a collectible tied to story progression. They reset on extra cycles (see New Game Plus). If you spent Acer stones on a first cycle and cannot find them on cycle 35, that is normal — look for them again in the same rooms.

Aisare’s Stone Shards

Named material confirmed in Steam achievements. For a Great Cause achievement: deliver an Aisare’s Stone Shard to Iedart. The later achievement: collect all shards and deliver them to Iedart for her research. Iedart is a named NPC. Aisare is the historical figure the tundra storyline obsesses over. Shards go to Iedart; do not treat them as vendor trash.

Jibanam sap

Gym sap or jibanam sap — both confirmed in ending and achievement language — is used to cure people. Lower Moss Cave is where Jibanam Trees and the tribe live, so sap hunting is geographic. Sap resets on extra cycles. If you cured the wrong NPCs or ran out mid-loop, you get another chance on cycle 35.

Healing pieces and heart pieces

Heart pieces raise the HP ceiling. They do not duplicate on extra cycles — they become memory fragments. You cannot double-dip the same pickup. Mana pieces work the same way. See New Game Plus for the fragment system.

Kannium

Kannium is the upgrade currency for the Claw. Claw Sharpening achievement: use Kannium to upgrade your Claw. Spend it at the interface the game provides. A post-ending achievement lets you reset the Claw to recover Kannium — that is the “take it back” button if you want to reallocate.

Silver Claw

The Silver Claw appears in multiple achievement contexts: Destroyed Legacy (acquire the Damaged Silver Claw) and Restore the damaged Silver Claw using the brooch left behind by Grande. This is a story object and a weapon upgrade, not a generic material. Track it on Carox and through NPC dialogue.

Golden Claw

Steam achievement: Obtain the Golden Claw. This is a named upgrade beyond the starting claw and the Silver Claw progression. The community achievement guide references this as a mid-to-late game weapon goal.

Cabitz charms

Cabitz are charms, not consumables. See Cabitz Builds for the named charm list. Do not treat costumes (Blue Scale Robe, Crimson Flare Dance) as Cabitz — they are cosmetics.

Wave discharger

Used to disable the Giant Guardian. Did It Work? achievement: disable the Giant Guardian using the wave discharger. Bring the object the game gives you to the encounter; do not try to claw-only the Guardian.

Combinator

Steam achievement: Open Jack’s Vault and obtain the Combinator. Jack’s Vault is a named location. The Combinator is a named item. This is a puzzle or exploration trophy, not a combat drop.

What not to invent

Do not assign drop rates, chest counts, or room coordinates to any item on this list. Public patch notes do not publish that data. Use Carox and the Codex to track what you have found.
