Fatal Claw Achievements
51 Steam trophies — ten official names, no fake full list.
Fatal Claw lists 51 Steam achievements at the 1.0 launch. That count is the store and overlay number. Early Access expansions added Codex entries and extra trophies over time, which is why older blog posts that still say a much smaller number are out of date. This page will not invent the other 41 names. Steam overlay (Shift+Tab) and the in-game Codex are the live lists.
If you previously saw a fan list of 28 titles, ignore it. That figure is not the Steam 1.0 total.
How to track the 51
- Steam overlay. Open it during play. Hidden or locked tiles still exist on Steam’s side; some descriptions only appear after unlock. Do not need a third-party tracker for a first run.
- Codex. Official expansion notes say new Codex entries shipped with new achievements. When a region such as Strigine Quarry, Black Canyon, Higasha Tundra, Lower Elord Castle, Jayma’s Dungeon, the Kannir Belt, or Aphotic Marsh was added, the Codex grew with it. If overlay and Codex disagree, overlay is what Steam stores.
- Patches. v0.9.269 fixed certain achievements unlocking automatically at the start of a game. If a trophy pops on a brand-new file before you do anything, update, then start a fresh save if the pop was a ghost.
This wiki’s Updates Hub is the place for patch language. Do not use achievement hunting as a reason to skip Getting Started.
Ten highlighted official names
The names below are official Steam achievement titles. Interpretations stay close to Steam’s own one-line descriptions. They are not a recommended order, and they are not a 100% checklist.
Weed Control — Steam: defeat Saitin. Treat this as an early named kill, not as a gardening minigame. If you have not met Saitin yet, you are not missing a secret weed room; you have not reached that encounter. Boss routing belongs on the Bosses Hub.
Let There Be Light — Steam: defeat Mirkam and restore power to the village. Two verbs: the fight and the power restoration. If the trophy does not pop after the kill, finish the restoration step the game is presenting instead of re-fighting immediately.
Gale Warning — Steam: reach Strigine Quarry. A reach trophy, not a boss trophy. Strigine Quarry is an official 1st Expansion region (storm winds, quarry, later connections toward Stone Sanctuary language in teasers). Walking in is enough for the name as Steam wrote it.
Destroyed Legacy — Steam: acquire the Damaged Silver Claw. An item trophy. The Damaged Silver Claw is a named pickup. This page will not invent the room. When Carox or a quest NPC points at a claw fragment, that is the hunt; pin it.
Too Slow… — Steam: defeat Irbes. Official punctuation included. Irbes is a named boss. “Too Slow…” is flavor, not a speedrun requirement unless Steam later adds a separate timed description — which this page will not invent.
Golden Castle — Steam: reach Elord Castle. Another reach trophy. Elord Castle is a major mid-game structure with upper and lower expansions. Entering the castle region is the condition Steam published; 100% of the castle is not implied by the title.
Did It Work? — Steam: disable the Giant Guardian using the wave discharger. This is a gadget / puzzle trophy, not a raw DPS check. Bring the wave discharger interaction the game gives you. If you only claw the Guardian, you may be on the wrong verb.
Pull Yourself Together — Steam: defeat Ortrinde. Ortrinde is a named boss. Patch notes even mention a Blink plus downward attack camera fix in that fight. Learn the pattern; do not invent a heal-ban modifier unless overlay says so.
Claw Sharpening — Steam: use Kannium to upgrade your Claw. Spend Kannium on a Claw upgrade at the interface the game provides. You do not need a maxed tree for this name as written.
For a Great Cause — Steam: deliver an Aisare’s Stone Shard to Iedart. A delivery trophy. Iedart is an official NPC; Aisare’s Stone Shards are named materials. One shard delivery is what Steam wrote. A later overlay tile about collecting all shards for Iedart is a different achievement — this page will not paste that extra title into the highlighted ten.
What expansions changed
The 1st Expansion Update (v0.9.228) added Strigine Quarry, Black Canyon, and Higasha Tundra, plus new Cabitz, Lyani’s Claws, journals, Iedart rewards, costumes (Blue Scale Robe, Crimson Flare Dance), Reien’s Covenant, and new Steam achievements and Codex entries.
The 2nd Expansion Update (v0.9.265) added Lower Elord Castle, Jayma’s Dungeon, and the Kannir Belt, plus more Cabitz, owl statues after bosses, and new Codex entries and Steam achievements again.
Version 1.0 (26 August 2026) opens remaining regions including deeper Moss Cave, Upper Origin Laboratory, Higasha Tundra interior, and Aphotic Marsh, and it is the build whose store page shows 51 trophies.
That history is why a screenshot of overlay from November 2025 will not match a screenshot from August 2026. Always hunt on the 1.0 list.
How to hunt without a fake 41-name table
Play the game. Reach trophies (Gale Warning, Golden Castle) happen when the Full Walkthrough says you entered the region. Boss trophies (Weed Control, Too Slow…, Pull Yourself Together, Let There Be Light’s kill half) happen when you beat the named enemy. Item and delivery trophies (Destroyed Legacy, Claw Sharpening, For a Great Cause, Did It Work?) happen when you use the named object or NPC.
For everything else:
- Open Steam overlay and read the locked description if Steam shows one.
- Check Codex for a matching journal or region flag.
- Do not trust a spreadsheet that still has 28 rows or names this wiki has banned as invented lore.
Missable questions (endings, NPC deaths, post-credits tiles) should be answered by overlay text and the Endings page, not by a guessed “rescue exactly N survivors” quota. This wiki will not treat a fan total of 13 survivors as official.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many achievements does Fatal Claw have?
Steam lists 51 at 1.0. Expansions added more over Early Access. Ignore older articles that still say 28.
Where is the full list of all 51 names?
Steam overlay and the Steam achievements page. This wiki only highlights ten official names and will not invent the other 41.
Did expansions add achievements?
Yes. Official 1st and 2nd Expansion notes both say new Steam achievements and Codex entries shipped with new regions and Cabitz.
Why did an achievement unlock when I started a new file?
Version 0.9.269 fixed certain achievements unlocking automatically at game start. Update to 1.0. If a ghost unlock remains, start a new save after the patch.
Do I need every survivor for achievements?
This wiki does not publish an official survivor total. Use overlay text and the Endings page. Do not treat a fan number of 13 as a Steam requirement.
Can I track progress without overlay?
Codex expanded with the expansions and is the in-game companion. Overlay remains the authority for what Steam stores on your account.
