Fatal Claw on Nintendo Switch

Planned for H2 2026 — not part of the 26 August Steam 1.0 build.

Players search “Fatal Claw Switch” because Com2uS Holdings described Fatal Claw as a PC and console title, and because a launch-week report said the company plans to expand service to console platforms including the Nintendo Switch in the second half of 2026. This page exists so that search does not land on a fake cartridge date. Version 1.0 on 26 August 2026 is Steam for Windows. There is no Switch SKU in the 1.0 store page this wiki is written against.

If a retailer widget in another country shows a Switch listing before NDEV GAMES or Com2uS Holdings posts a date, treat it as unconfirmed. This wiki will not invent a day-one patch size, a Game Key Card versus cartridge split, or a Switch 2 exclusive mode.

For the build that actually shipped, use System Requirements, Steam Deck, and the Steam store page.

What 1.0 actually is

  • Platform: Windows via Steam (app 2827750)
  • Early Access: 18 November 2025
  • 1.0: 26 August 2026, 07:00 UTC
  • Price: $24.99 list, 20% introductory discount through 9 September 2026
  • Players: single-player only
  • Input: full controller support (so a Switch port is plausible, not proven)
  • Handheld today: Steam Deck Playable, not a Switch port

Com2uS’s 1.0 messaging also cited playtime growing from about six hours in the first Early Access slice to roughly 30 hours including major content, multiple ending segments, and hidden elements. That clock is publisher language, not a Switch performance promise.

What “console including Switch” means in August 2026

It means a plan for H2 2026, announced around the Steam 1.0 window. It does not mean:

  • The Steam 1.0 executable is a Switch build
  • Cross-saves between Steam and Nintendo Account are confirmed
  • Joy-Con gyro claw is confirmed
  • A price in eShop currency is confirmed
  • ChinaJoy’s special booth demo (Korea Pavilion N2-12-2, 31 July–3 August 2026) was a Switch demo — that event used a short-session PC demo for the show floor

When a Nintendo Direct, eShop page, or official Steam news post names a Switch day, this wiki should be updated from that source. Until then, wishlist Steam if you want to play now.

Why people assume it is already out

Fatal Claw’s store copy and press kit keep saying PC and console. Kickstarter-era language aimed at living-room play. Full controller support and modest 3 GB specs make a Switch port look easy in a blog headline. Easy in a headline is not a SKU.

Steam Deck covers “I want a handheld cat Metroidvania this week.” Switch would cover “I want it in a Nintendo ecosystem later.” Those are different checkout buttons.

What a future Switch version would still need to answer

This is a checklist of unknowns, not promises:

  • Performance in Kannir glow rooms and Aphotic Marsh sludge versus Docked 1080p-class targets
  • Whether 1.0’s extra-cycle ending layer ships complete or trimmed
  • Cloud saves versus Nintendo’s own backup
  • Language set versus Steam’s ten-language client list
  • Price versus the $24.99 Steam list

Until those are public, play the Steam 1.0 map: Origin Laboratory, Moss Cave, Elord Castle, Higasha Tenshukaku, Jayma’s Dungeon, Kannir Belt, Aphotic Marsh. Guides on this wiki describe that build.

How to follow the port without feeding rumours

Watch Steam news, fatalclaw.com, @FatalClawGame, @NDEVGAMES, and the official Discord. The Updates Hub and Version 1.0 pages summarize public notes; they are still fan summaries.

If you only have a Switch today, the honest sentence is: Fatal Claw’s complete 1.0 story is on Steam as of 26 August 2026; a Nintendo version is planned for later in 2026 according to publisher comments, with no day posted on this wiki.

Do not buy a listing that looks like a ROM shop. Fatal Claw is a paid game. When the eShop page is real, it will look like Nintendo, not like a zip file.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Fatal Claw out on Nintendo Switch?

Not in the 1.0 Steam launch of 26 August 2026. Publisher comments describe a console expansion including Switch in H2 2026, without a day on this wiki.

Can I play the Steam version on Switch?

No. Steam 1.0 is Windows. Steam Deck is the handheld option that exists today.

Will Switch have the full 30-hour 1.0 content?

Unknown until a Nintendo listing exists. Com2uS's 30-hour figure describes the complete Steam content, not a confirmed Switch SKU.

Was the ChinaJoy demo a Switch build?

The ChinaJoy 2026 booth advertised a special short-session demo at the Korea Pavilion. This wiki does not treat that as a Switch SKU.

Where should I play now?

Steam for Windows, including Steam Deck as Playable. Wishlist or follow official channels for a future Nintendo store page.
