Updates Hub

Fatal Claw’s public patch trail through 1.0 is short enough to list honestly. NDEV GAMES used Early Access (from 18 November 2025) to ship two named expansions and two numbered bugfix builds, then launched 1.0 on 26 August 2026 at 07:00 UTC. This hub does not invent dash cooldown decimals, drop-rate percents, or fake zones. When a patch note names a region or an item, it appears below. When players report a fix, it is labeled as a report.

First Expansion — v0.9.228

The first expansion added Strigine Quarry, Black Canyon, and Higasha Tundra. Lyani’s Claws is the named ability from this drop. Costumes include Blue Scale Robe and Crimson Flare Dance. Iedart rewards are called out in the expansion notes; this page will not invent their tables. If your Early Access save predates 0.9.228, these three regions are the first big map stretch after the laboratory-scale start.

Bugfix — v0.9.236

v0.9.236 is a bugfix build between the two expansions. Exact line items were not republished as a lore dump. Treat it as stability work. If a community thread attributes a specific crash to this number, confirm on Steam news or the official Discord rather than on a wiki that guesses.

Second Expansion — v0.9.265

The second expansion added Lower Elord Castle, Jayma’s Dungeon, and Kannir Belt. Owl statues after bosses restore HP; that quality-of-life tool lands in this era. New Cabitz arrived here as well. Named Cabitz across the live game include Half Salvation Stone, Traditional Royal Whetstone, Prepared Strike, Dotiman’s Token, and Heart of the Black Curse. Earlier labels Sage’s Moonstone, Spirit Bead Rosary, and Sacred Flame of Life were renamed. King’s Authority, the Stone of Immortality Chamber, King Examu, and seals live in this royal-and-dungeon block. Kannir Belt introduces the Kannir-liquid versus Kannic-currency distinction that later drilling-site rooms keep using.

Bugfix — v0.9.269

v0.9.269 is the second listed bugfix number. Community notes include a camera fix on Ortrinde: Blink combined with a downward attack could break the camera; that issue was addressed. Irbes’s phase-two copies clumping is a known mechanical complaint; whether a given hotfix fully solved it is something you should verify in your own 1.0 build rather than treating a wiki as a patch-note OCR.

Version 1.0 — 26 August 2026

1.0 leaves Early Access and adds Lower Moss Cave, Upper Origin Laboratory, Higasha Tenshukaku, and Aphotic Marsh. Silver Chain is the named marsh pickup. Black sludge, Sorr traces, and Jibanam Trees belong to this launch slice. Steam at launch: Windows, full controller, Steam Deck Playable, $24.99 with 20 percent off until 9 September 2026, 51 achievements, single-player only. Reviews sat Very Positive, 90 percent of 177 all-time (older snapshots said 92 percent of 154). Com2uS cited about 30 hours including endings and hidden content. Nintendo Switch is a planned H2 2026 console expansion, not a 1.0 SKU. The dedicated briefing is Version 1.0 Launch.

1.0 is also when ending systems, extra cycles, and afterglow walls need to be discussed as shipping features, not as EA placeholders. See Endings and New Game Plus rather than this hub for those rules.

What this hub will not do

It will not invent an Early Access 0.1 through 0.8 region list. It will not invent an achievement total other than Steam’s 51. It will not claim a launch price other than $24.99. It will not assign cooldown numbers to Blink or dash. For store text, use the Steam page. For studio news, use fatalclaw.com. For live bug talk, use Discord and Steam. Then come back to the Walkthrough Hub or the Map Hub when you need geography instead of version numbers.

If you returned to the game after a long EA break, play 1.0 as a new map: Upper Origin Laboratory, Lower Moss Cave, Tenshukaku Interior, and Aphotic Marsh are the four names to hunt on Carox before you assume you “finished Early Access.” Lyani’s Claws and Silver Chain are the two named tools that most change backtracking after those patches.
