Fatal Claw Walkthrough Hub
First hour, region route, endings, and extra cycles.
The Walkthrough Hub is the route layer of this wiki: first hour, a region-by-region path using official names, how endings actually work, and what extra cycles change. Fatal Claw is a single-player Steam Metroidvania. It does not hold your hand with a quest compass, but Carox (the Cat Radar Codex) gives you a map from Origin Laboratory onward, and Stone Warp later turns discovered points into fast travel. Read these pages in order if you are lost; skip ahead if you only need one topic.
Getting Started
Getting Started is the first-hour page. It covers the stained-glass introduction, Kisha waking in Origin Laboratory, healing as a scarce combat resource, Cabitz charm stones, and why you should open Carox immediately instead of wandering blind. It does not invent keyboard binds or potion cooldowns. If a number is not in a patch note, the page says so and tells you how to play around the gap.
Full Walkthrough
The full walkthrough is a region-by-region route, not a claim that the game is a hallway. You will backtrack. Blink, glide (including grabbing walls while gliding), wall climb, Lyani’s Claws from the first expansion, and the 1.0 Silver Chain in Aphotic Marsh all reopen earlier rooms. Official names used on that page include Origin Laboratory, Lower Moss Cave, Strigine Quarry, Black Canyon, Higasha Tundra, Tenshukaku Interior, Wolf Gate, Lower and Upper Elord Castle, Jayma’s Dungeon, Kannir Belt, Isaac Manor, Mirror Chamber, Elord Castle Grand Square, Aphotic Marsh, and the Shrine of Ancestors. If a side path is gated by an ability we cannot date to a specific hour, the walkthrough says to mark it on Carox and return.
Boss names appear only when they are confirmed in patches or widely reported: Ortrinde, Irbes, Nagaraja, Enma. Do not treat that as a complete official roster. Pair the route with the Bosses Hub and the Abilities Hub when a fight or a movement tool is the real blocker.
Endings
Endings exists because a lot of third-party copy still talks about a Bad, Good, and True trio. That framing is not how the 1.0 build presents itself. Credits can roll first; an epilogue continues after. The Stone of Narrative tracks objectives, and some of those objectives are mutually exclusive. Blue afterglow walls, gym or jibanam sap used to cure people, Kane or Cain as a known rescue question, and memory fragments on later cycles all belong on that page. If you want the longest happy set of narrative segments, treat it as a completion style, not as an official True Ending name.
New Game Plus
New Game Plus covers extra cycles after rewind. Cycle numbering moves from 34 to 35 in the documented rewind. Bosses, Acer stones, and sap reset. Abilities and statues stay. Heart and mana pieces you already took come back as memory fragments instead of duplicate pickups. Use that page when you are planning a second loop, not when you are still learning Origin Laboratory.
How to play this hub
If you just launched 1.0, do Getting Started, then the full walkthrough until you hit a named region you cannot match on Carox, then the Map Hub. If credits already rolled, go to Endings before you start another cycle. If you are comparing patches, the Updates Hub lists the real expansion versions. This hub will not pad word count with a fake zone list or a fake survivor total. When the game is quiet about a number, we stay quiet and give you a practical next action instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What order should I play the regions?
There is no single official hallway order. Start in Origin Laboratory, then follow Carox. The full walkthrough lists official names and tells you when to backtrack with Blink, Lyani's Claws, or Silver Chain.
Where is the first-hour guide?
Getting Started covers the stained-glass intro, healing, Carox, Cabitz, and Origin Laboratory. It does not invent a fake tutorial zone.
Is Fatal Claw linear?
No. It is a Metroidvania. Mark gated rooms and return after new movement tools. Aphotic Marsh's Silver Chain is a major 1.0 backtrack key.
How do endings relate to New Game Plus?
Credits can roll before the epilogue finishes. Extra cycles (34 to 35) reset bosses, Acer stones, and sap while keeping abilities. See Endings and New Game Plus.
Do I need every survivor for a named True Ending?
There is no official True Ending stamp. The Stone of Narrative has exclusive objectives. Rescue whoever the stone still lists instead of chasing a quota from old guides.
