Fatal Claw System Requirements

Fatal Claw 1.0 (26 August 2026) is a Windows Steam release from NDEV GAMES, published by Com2us Holdings. This page copies the published minimum and recommended PC specs, then adds platform, language, controller, and Steam Deck notes that players actually search for. It replaces the old Guides “Getting Started” URL: the first-hour route now lives only at Getting Started.

Minimum specifications

These are the published minimums. They describe a machine that should launch and play, not a machine that will max every particle in the Kannir Belt.

If you are on 32-bit Windows, or on Windows 8.1 or older, you are below the published OS line. The game is a 64-bit Windows title at 1.0.

The Core 2 Duo E5200 line is a 2008-era dual core. It is a floor, not a comfort target. If that CPU is also paired with a mechanical drive and 4 GB of RAM shared with Chrome, expect long loads more than a cinematic 60 FPS. Close overlays you do not need; keep Steam overlay if you want F12 screenshots and achievement pops.

The 9800 GTX+ / 1 GB VRAM floor means DirectX 10 class hardware. Integrated graphics that only expose DirectX 9 will not meet the table. If Windows Game Bar reports a GPU without DX10, do not buy hoping for a hidden compatibility mode this wiki has not seen announced.

Steam’s recommended row does not pin an i5 generation. Read it as a quad-core-class Core i5 or a similar AMD CPU, not as a promise that every i5 in history is equal. 8 GB RAM is the comfort line; 4 GB is the minimum line. The GTX 560 / DirectX 11 pair is still older hardware, which matches a 2D title with a 3 GB install.

Storage stays 3 GB on both rows. That is install size headroom, not a save-file size. Screenshots, workshop-less extras, and Windows pagefile live outside that 3 GB. Keep extra space on the same drive Steam uses so cloud sync and shader caches do not fail in ugly ways.

Platforms at 1.0: Windows Steam only

• Windows via Steam: yes. This is the 1.0 platform.
• macOS: not available at launch. Do not expect a Proton-less Mac build until NDEV GAMES announces one.
• Linux native: not available at launch. Steam Deck play (below) is a Deck/Proton situation, not a published Ubuntu package.
• Consoles: publisher comments around the Steam 1.0 window describe a console expansion including Nintendo Switch in the second half of 2026. That is a plan, not a 1.0 SKU. See Nintendo Switch. Do not invent a cartridge date.

Steam Deck: playable with a controller, not a Verified claim here

Fatal Claw has full controller support and modest specs, so it is playable on Steam Deck with a controller. This wiki does not claim an official Steam Deck Verified badge. Valve’s Verified program is a separate listing; unless Steam itself shows Verified on your Deck client, say “playable with controller.”

On Deck, start from Controls: default gamepad layout, confirm Look Up / Look Down, and do not steal binds with a random community layout. Thermals and TDP are a Deck setting, not an in-game “portable mode.” If a dense Elord Castle or Kannir Belt room stutters, lower Deck TDP or in-game quality if a slider exists, then test again.

Steam Cloud should carry a Windows save to Deck and back. Wait for the cloud icon to finish before you launch on the second device.

Controller, keyboard, and accessibility

Full controller support is a Steam tag, not a maybe. Keyboard customization includes Look Up / Look Down range (increased in v0.9.228) and Up/Down scroll keys. Analog stick dead zone was increased in v0.9.265. Details live on the Controls page.

Difficulty and accessibility sliders can reduce combat pressure if your hardware hitch makes Blink timing harder than the fight design. That is a legitimate use of How to Play, not a cheat.

Languages (Steam vs this wiki)

This wiki is published in English, French, German, and Spanish. Wiki language and in-game language are independent. You can play in Japanese with the wiki in English. You cannot assume the wiki has Korean, Russian, or Chinese articles because Steam does.

What these specs do not tell you

They do not tell you a 4K monitor will look sharp. They do not tell you a 144 Hz overlay is official. They do not tell you a handheld PC other than Deck is supported. They do not replace Beginner Tips or the Walkthrough Hub.

If the game will not launch, verify the 64-bit OS, DX10-capable GPU, 3 GB free, and that you are not launching a leftover Early Access shortcut. Then check Updates for 1.0 hotfixes and Community for the official Discord if a crash is new.
